The King of all Fruits

Durian, also known as the King of all Fruits because of its smell and also the pointy pointy thing that they have as their shell. The smell? Percentages of people thinks it's smelly, and percentages of people who eats it thinks it's the smell of heaven..so, which percentage do you fall in? As for me...I definitely fall in the latter one (if not i wouldnt be blogging about it)
Anyway, durian seasons has arrived!everyone goes back to their hometown to eat it as it only comes maximum twice a year, which is pretty rare...Ever wonder why KL & PJ citizens doesnt purchase durians to eat here in their homes? That's cause:
1. They're really expensive (they sell in nicely packed packages with only 3 to 4 pieces)
2. It's much much much cheaper there (no doubt)
3. The smell attracts flies (town people hates flies being in their house)
4. Durians there tastes better (for certain levels/"category")
Yup...and that's the reason why people prefers to go back their hometown to eat rather than buy the ones here. There i was, back at my hometown, Johor, and down as much durians as i could while im there...hahaha. It's unbelieveable how i could stand the smell after hearing how much it stinks by other durian-haters.
The other reason we went back was because our relatives from Singapore are going back and seeing that this will be the last time my sister will be seeing them as she's leaving Msia and off to UK for her second year of engineering in Nottingham. We were brought to eat all the good food so that she can eat them for the last time....if not she'll be craving for it when she's there....as for me....i have 6 more months to go and i'll still be able to eat there one more time before i fly off too.
One day back to hometown is a really fast journey...when you reach...the next thing you'll realise is you're going back already...going back was emotional...both my aunts gave my sis a camera and the others gave "ang pao" for a save journey to UK. Everything became emotional when one of my aunt from Singapore started tearing when we wanted to leave. All my of aunts and uncles are really nice to us since we were young...therefore, i guess she was kinda heavy-hearted to let us leave.
Anyway, we left after all the huggings and reached KL at around 11.40am. Just in time to send my sis to work.
That was how i spent my weekends....enjoying the food and also the big group that i have while i was there.
