~Memorable Trip~

When is the last time you went for a vacation with you family members?or maybe with your friends or anyone that you know...?Well...Laguna Redang IS indeed a MAGNIFICENT Island to go to if you're seeking for relaxation and entertainment at the same time...Know why? Cause they provide you water activities and a really breath-taking view of clear-blue water & sandy-white beach. It is further complimented with the beautiful resort. Though it's located pretty far if you're a citizen from Selangor (without exceeding 10 hours of drive). But, as we all know how tempting it is to sit an airplane to Terengganu...with the speed you'll reach there as compared to driving. Without sounding like I'm promoting Laguna Redang any further, I actually spent my 4 days of holidays there...Relaxing and "Sun-Bathing".
Laguna Redang was the very ONE Island that i wanted to go to so badly...and believe me...though I've been to many Islands, I've never felt like going to one so much as I have for Laguna. After ways and times spent telling my parents how beautiful Laguna is, my dad finally made the right decision by bringing us there...I'm so so glad to have at last succeeded in tempting my dad...Muahahaha....=P This time is my 2nd time holiday-ing in Redang Island as I've been there once but not in the same resort. We boarded our flight to Terengganu on the 15th of June, 7 A.M. Despite the worries I have for leaving my house due to the increasing level of burglary in Msia (it happens all the time I leave for vacation though...uncontrollable). Anyway, we touched down after almost an hour flight and there was a shuttle already waiting for us to touch down and send us straight to their Jetty...while waiting for the ferry to come, me and sis went and take a look at the nearby shops that were set up along the road opposite of the jetty.

Boarded the ferry and we sat there for countless hours.....well....at least it felt like hours as we all know how "fast" a ferry can go that accommodates passengers reaching an amount of 50?or more...?so....it took us ages to reach to the Island and I dont see why they're not palnning in investing on SPEED BOAT!!it's much faster and it saves fuel in a way...and it helps save the troubles for the workers in the ferry to go around the ferry to supply passengers black plastic bags....so not environmentally friendly....tsk tsk...

At LAST....we reached Laguna Redang and we were guided into a building to listen to some presentation on the ground rules of Laguna....after hearing from how beautiful the beaches are and the rare turtles to monkey coming in stealing ladies under-garments and running around, we were finally guided to the resort's main lobby (by a shuttle) to receive our delicious 'Welcome Drink.'(don't know what is that though...tastes soury but sweet at the same time..)

Lining to get our drink

Unfortunately, we were not being checked-in to our room yet cause they're still cleaning it oup...so...while waiting to be guided to our room, we went for our lunch and did some cam-whoring to waste some time...besides, it's seriously irresistable not to take any pics when we got sight of the beach....*drooo0ling* This is how me and my sister reacts when we're not with our parents...alil 38 or jakun we may be but that's the whole fun of it!!how can we miss it & especially when we're girls...known for taking pics, yes? ^^

definitely not my idea

*Gasp*is that me in the pic?

The backdrop of the endless sea and stepping foot onto Laguna feels sooo goood. wanted to go for the 1st snorkeling activity available for us guests but we were all so tired after lunch & especially after all the journeys through land, sea, and air....therefore, sadly to say...we took a nap...=(

Woke up feeling all fresh and excited in going down to the super salty water....me and sis decided to go for it though it was really sunny and hot out there...but HEY!that's the thing about going to beaches for holidays right?going to the water though its hot and sunny...not avoiding them..

mom came along since we forced her by saying "come here so lazy to go beach then better not come la....waste money only..not cheap you know...tsk tsk.." (yup...that's what we said...haha). as i've known my dad all my life...he doesnt go to the resorts or ANY resort's beach besides going for snorkeling in the open sea. scream & scream & MORE screaming of fun...we went up to go back to our room to get ourselves ready for dinner...By the end of the whole screaming thing...my throat went sore and i was in thirst and hunger...gawp down the food as i saw them...yum yum...!(sad sad i didnt take any pics on the food...sorry Nick!was supposed to show you how much i can eat...hehe)

Went down to the beach again but this time to take a real good walk on the beach at night and to just lie down and relax while watching at the countless amount of stars.....(it was really really beautiful...if only they have a telescope there). A real time to get emoo and its easy especially when you think of being there with someone special *ahem*, I really wish it was there and then....=( Nick called moments later to talk about my 1st day there...it was a really long call and every minute of it were not given the chance to forget. talked till almost 12 and went back to our room to sleep so that we're full with energy for our snorkeling. hahaha...

Rise and Shine ready for day 2 activities...woke up seriously early even when im on holidays cause we have to take off to go for our 1st snorkeling trip...went down to the restaurant to have a full american buffet breakfast and off we go to the edge of the resort to take the ferry to The Marine Park...my second time there and it was the same just that this time it has more waves compared to the last time i went. fishys fishys are soooo nice to watch!!but BIG HUGE fishys are not so nice but i still went for them though they aren't cute or nice cause apparently and according to Nick's " theory, fishys cries...just that we dont get to see it cause they're all in the sea...hahaha!!it is true if you think back about it properly...makes sense...but theoritically proven im not sure...haha..

Surprisingly, i weren't dark nor tan after snorkeling...*surprise surprise* Besides all the snorkeling activities...times were spent preciously in the resort relaxing and walking around...and and...not forgetting...we can actually SHOP there....for souvenirs though...haha...but they're still fun since it's shopping..=)

I had the most difficult time buying souvenirs cause im afraid you may not like the gifts that i got for you....superly hard i tell you!but things there weren't cheap at all....ah well....we still buy them as a rememberance to it. Dinner time came and me & sis (as usual), went down to the beach again and found a nice spot to sit and enjoy the live band that they have there every night...tonight was an early birthday celebration for my a.k.a twin sister, Slyvia...but im here and couldnt make it there....so sorry slyvia!!their plans were off to Kelly's FAV place, Bar-Celona at Sunway....got on the phone with Nick again while he was driving to Kelly's house and waiting for her to get ready....chat alil with Kelly and more laughings on all the bullying that Kelly gave Nick in the car...hahaha....seriosuly nothing to comment on you guy's teasing frequency-level.

My very very last day in Laguna was spent on snorkeling in the deep sea in the evening to see real deep sea creatures and corals....AND avoiding jellyfishes....there are plenty during the time we went! apparently it was cause the sea water was warm and it was the right temperature for them to come...therefore, there were many of them....went back when it was reaching late evening and went straight to see baby sharks near our resort's beach. THEN off we go to the swimming pool for the 1st time since we came...hahaha....that was the time where all the tan starts happening...my new theory?going to the pool side makes you dark and not by going to the beach!!it's proven by me....haha...OH!!not forgetting...you know how much it costs for a bowl of ice kacang there??It's 8 Ringgit!!its like....4 times more than the one our college is selling!!yeaaa...it is slightly nicer but not 4 times more expensive right??and its for a bowl of ice kacang!!sighh....but it was seriously nice....hehe...^^b

Seeing it's the last day of our trip and seeing it's gonna be the last time we're gonna be here, sis & I took a strode down the long beacha nd to other linked/nearby resorts to see the environment there....took us a few hours to walk around and enjoy the surrounding...watched the beautiful sunset and took lotsa pictures...

Let the pictures do the talking....(some are from the previous days)

I wouldnt have the chance to go to Laguna if it weren't for my parents....my mom for more persuading and promoting to dad & my dad for paying all the expenses to go and while we were there. You guys are the BEST though there are certain things that I am restricted to do often or non....however, you all are always the people i will treasure not for a long time but for my whole life...*hugs*
